Less than 12 months

So many people I know are traveling overseas and I'm jealous. I admit I am itching to travel again and live as much as life as I can. Someone said the other day that you can never be certain you will be alive in a months time (or a day for that matter). Rather than see this as a negative to me it is a reminder to enjoy what I can, when I can and do things I want to do now - it's always about finding that balance between responsibilities and living -unfortunately a lot of us focus far too much on the former and before we know it life has passed us by.
As each month draws closer the planning intensifies. I'm putting together the beginnings of our video, sorting out the hassle with our MasterCard travel insurance and beginning to ask around for a house sitter but loving every moment of it.

15 months and counting

About 15 months to go. We have been paying our airfare off through www.mylaybuy.com. so we don't miss the money every fortnight. I have placed some ads in home sitter sites to find someone who will house sit and look after the cat and chills whilst we are away. Tuscany accommodation is paid for and Bosnia and Greece have been organised. Early days but I'm getting excited. All we need to do now is sell the Four Seasons.
