Days 50 & 51 - Casola in Lunigiana Tuscany Italy

We continue to see some amazing sights but our stay in Casola in Lunigiana in Tuscany takes us off the tourist route. So after some grocery shopping in anticipation of some home cooking, we drove almost three hours to reach our piece of paradise.
I have included two days in this posting as we promised the kids a bludge day of doing nothing so nothing we will be doing on day 51.

Wifi is very difficult to get hence the delay in posting and lack of pics. K, the blog photographer, is itching to get some of her snaps up but I don't think it will happen whilst we are in Tuscany. There is some wifi contraption that I have never seen but doesn't seem to ever have any reception. We were here in 2010 and enjoyed our stay so much we have returned. The kids are off playing together trying to catch a cat (there are cats everywhere here). This is the first time in 50 days they have really played together. The atmosphere is one of relaxation. I am sitting with a wine and a packet of pistachios on the verandah listening to the cuckoos, looking at the Marble Mountains, deers eating some poor farmers plantings, Terenzano - a distant ancient little village and the sound of dingling cow bells, the occasional church bell and the tree lined mountains.

This is Heaven.
